Meet Connie who is the brand new Asian Short Clawed Otter (Aonyx cinereux)! She is settling into her new home here with us whilst we slowly work on introducing her to Twix, our male otter, who you can see at the Otter Creek. Introducing otters is a slow process as they can be very territorial so we will be keeping them separate for a short period first.
The animal care team will be keeping a close eye on both Connie and Twix as their relationship develops.
