Teddy rescued on 23rd November 2010
Teddy was a 6-8 weeks old seal pup when rescued by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team on 23rd November 2010 from Porthgwidden. The pup was found to be malnourished and weighed 14kg. He is in the main hospital´s pen number one.

Update: 1st January 2011 - Photo right of Teddy was taken in the nursery pool on 29th December 2010, he currently weighs 21kg.     Click here to see further photos.

His flipper tag number is 023 (white).

Update: 8th February 2011 - Teddy currently weighs 27 kilos.
Back to the wild Update: 4th March 2011 - Teddy is doing well and putting on weight.

Update: 23rd March 2011 - Teddy along with Billy, Poppy, Guido, Ugg and Francis were released back into the wild at Porthtowan on 22nd March 2011.

Update: 17th April 2013 - Teddy was spotted at a local haul-out along the north coast of Cornwall on 27th March 2013 and 8th April 2013 by members of the Cornwall Seal Group.
