Superman
Superman Superman was found with another pup together on the beach after being abandoned by their mothers.

The two pups were rescued by members of the Animal Care Team and taken to the seal hospital where the pups were placed in neighbouring pens so they can keep an eye in each other.
Update: 18th July 2013 - Superman is putting on lots of weight and is already being hand fed with fish.

Unfortunately, Lois, her partner, despite the best efforts from the animal care team, passed away.

Superman Update: 2nd August 2013 - The baby of the group, Superman, she is gaining weight well and eating lots! Despite being the smallest, she is a tough one, and with a little help from some antibiotics has managed to recover really well from the nasty virus that the Animal Care Team have been fighting this year.

Unfortunately, she also has Seal Pox, but don´t worry - it is just like when we get Chicken Pox!

The Animal Care Team are keeping a close eye on Superman as she recovers, but are confident she will be just fine. It does mean she will be kept by herself until she is completely better, just to make sure the other seal pups don´t catch it - just like Chicken Pox, it is very contagious!

Despite this, Superman is very happy, and still the feisty one of the group. She is now big enough to be learning to pool feed, and if she picks it up as fast as he learnt to hand feed, she will even manage to beat the others at it!

Superman Update: 31st August 2013 - Superman is still one of the fastest learners of the group. She is now completely able to feed herself! She still has seal pox, but she is quite active, very happy, and has a great appetite.
Update: 9th September 2013 - Superman is putting on lots of weight and is currently in the hospital´s weaning (swimming) pool. She is very cute!
