| PC Plum arrived on 30th November 2007 |
| PC Plum arrived at the Sanctuary on the 30th of November, he was rescued by the British Divers Marine life Rescue and they transported him down to us here at the Sanctuary.
Upon arrival at the Sanctuary he was examined to see if he had any injuries. He didn´t have any bite marks on him but was dehydrated and malnourished. PC Plum is approximately 3 weeks old and weighs 12.5 kg.
Hospital Update - December 2007 : PC Plum has now been weaned on to herring and is taking them by hand. He is a very vocal pup and likes to get attention although as soon as anyone goes into the pen beside him, he growls and tries to attack the towel. He is going for swims in the weaning pool and we are trying to encourage him to take fish for himself. Once he does this and weighs 20kgs, he can be moved outside to the main pools. |
 | Update: 15th February 2008 - These photos of PC Plum were taken earlier today in the pups´ weaning pool in the hospital; he weighs 14kg and is still being hand fed fish during feeding time. PC Plum shares the pups´ weaning pool with Archie. |

| Update: March/April 2008 - PC Plum is still in the weaning pool. The good news is that he is now taking fish for himself and loving it at that!! His current weight is 17.2kg so hopefully he will be joining all the other pups outside in the main pools really soon. His flipper tag number (yellow) is 110. The release weight for Grey Seals is 40kg. |
| Update: May 2008 - PC Plum has been moved outside to complete his rehabilitation. As he has put on a lot of weight over the past few months, he should be getting released back into the wild soon, once he has got used to being outside. |
| Update: 29th May 2008 - PC Plum is really enjoying all the room outside and has gained lots of weight so will hopefully be ready for release soon. His current weight is 34kg. |

 | Update: 13th July 2008 - PC Plum was released on the 2nd July 2008 with the help of a colleague from the Loch Lomond Aquarium, Mark Hind. At the time of his release a group of about 5 seals could be seen swimming around and PC Plum, after some initial investigating, went swimming off to meet them. We all hope the great outdoors is treating PC Plum well. |
