The Animal Care Team received a slightly more unusual seal rescue call.
Meet Tornado, a common seal, who was found on a farm near the River Wissey around 20 miles inland!
Tornado is around three years old so is much bigger than the rest of this summer´s rescued common seals.

She has been previously rehabilitated and released when she was a pup in 2012 but seems to have got herself a little bit lost.
Other than being a little confused and exhausted Tornado is a healthy seal and hopefully will not be at the Sanctuary for too long before being released back into the wild.
