Tinsel, approx. 2 years female grey seal, was rescued from Southwold beach on 29th February 2016 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) medics team. She is a little older than most of the rescued seal pups but looked like she needed a helping hand. Although much larger than the rest of the rescued pups at 32kgs, she is very underweight for her age, she should weigh around 50kgs by now! She had small wounds all over body and suffering from lungworm.

With lots of attention from the Animal Care Team, hopefully the seal will make a full recovery and be returned to the wild later this year.
