Stuffing, 10 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued on 10th December 2020 from the harbour´s slipway at Mevagissey by the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) marine mammal medics.
The pup had some wounds on his belly and eye that were healing, and also underweight.
The pup was taken to one of the BDMLR´s holding facilities until a pen was available for him at the Seal Sanctuary´s hospital.

British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Volunteer marine mammal medics will be sent out to monitor the pup for a period of time and as a very last resort, may rescue the pup depending on the circumstances.
