Stevie on holiday in Cornwall

Stevie, a male grey seal, was rescued off the coast of Norfolk in 2006 and rehabilated at Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary for several months. It was soon realised that he was completely blind so a permanent home was found for him at Sea Life Blankenberge in Belgium where he lives happily with Californian Sea Lions.
He is currently on holiday here at Gweek for a month whilst his pool in Belgium is being refurbished.
Stevie is a friendly boy who loves a bit of one on one attention, and the Animal Care Team at Gweek are certainly ready to give him lots of attention!
He can eat up to 15kgs of fish a day and weighs an impressive 230kgs.
