If you have visited Portreath beach recently in Cornwall, you may have noticed this fantastic beach signage on display. This signage was created with the public at heart, as the majority of pup calls come from people on the beach.
The sign is also a useful guide for normal wildlife behaviours, who to call and some handy tips for leaving our beautiful beaches as we find them.
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary are calling for any decision makers/beach cafe owners who would like a sign, they are totally free, the Sanctuary will cover erection costs and maintenance.
The beach signage was created by The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, with help from Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust, Whale and Dolphin Conservation, The RSPB, 2 Minute Beach Clean, British Divers Marine Life Rescue, Cornwall Wildlife Trust and The Cornwall Marine and Coastal Code Group and was funded by the SEALIFE Trust.
