3D Virtual Reality Shop gifted to the
Cornish Seal Sanctuary amid financial crisis

In these uncertain times, incredible individuals and communities are coming together to support the Cornish Seal Sanctuary to help them through another national lockdown.

Penzance-based Perran 3D filmed and edited a 3D virtual reality video tour free of charge for the Cornish Seal Sanctuary gift shop, enabling their supporters to "walk" around the shop and purchase items, despite the Sanctuary having to close for the duration of the lockdown.

3D Virtual Reality Shop gifted to the Sanctuary amid financial crisis Jana Sirova, General Manager of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary said "We are over the moon and so grateful for Peter´s generosity. We rely heavily on gift shop and ticket sales from our visitors, and after having to close for another lockdown we are in a very difficult situation and suffering significant losses.

The amazing virtual reality shop on our website will enable our supporters to help us through this time, buying gifts for loved ones for Christmas and bringing in vital funds to ensure we can continue to care for all our seal pups and resident animals."
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary suffered losses of over £700,000 during the first national lockdown. With many resident animals to care for, some of whom have complex medical needs, as well as a busy pup season over the winter months, the Sanctuary is facing an extremely challenging time.

Jana went on to say "There are so many ways you can get involved and support our Sanctuary, from the innovative to the everyday. Please do get in touch if you would like to help us continue our vital work caring sick and injured seal pups and all our lovely residents."
