Pong was spotted on 26th December 2019 chilling out at Carne beach, Co. Wexford in Ireland a cool 226km from where he was released in Porthtowan on 2nd December 2019.
Seal Rescue Centre in Ireland said on their facebook page "Pong seemed to be of good body condition and went off swimming as our volunteer Shauna Murphy attended. Hopefully, he´ll continue to thrive in the wild!"
