Common Cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis).
The Common Cuttlefish is one of the largest cuttlefish in the world. These strange looking creatures are closely related to octopus and squid and like some of their relatives, they can change colour and squirt ink to startle prey or escape from predators.
Habitat: Sand and mud beds. Diet: Small fish and crustaceans.
Size: Up to 49cm. Range: North Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Baltic Sea.
