A common seal pup was found on the beach at Brancaster Staithe on 9th August 2015 by members of the public, Lorraine and her daughter Tiachannay. They had gone for a walk along the beach and came across the pup, Lorraine and Tiachannay observed the pup for an hour then contacted the Animal Care Team at Hunstanton.
Lorraine said "So pleased I had my mobile phone with us when we went for a stroll alone the beach".

Update - 21st August 2015 : Marti sadly passed away on 14th August 2015. It is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough antibodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary.
