Krampus, a male grey seal pup, was rescued from Heacham beach on 29th February 2016 after concerned members of the public found him hauled out resting. He was found coughing up blood and suffering from lungworm. Weighed 24kgs.

With lots of attention from the Animal Care Team, hopefully the pup will make a full recovery and be returned to the wild later this year. Update - 12th April 2016 : Photo above and left of Krampus were taken on 10th April 2016, in the hospital´s pen No. 1. Click here to see a larger photo of this and above. His flipper tag number is 171 (blue).

Update - 5th June 2016 : Krampus along with Pacman, Tinsel, Noel, Mivvi and Donner have been rehabilitated over the last few months and were released at Snettisham beach back into the sea where they belong on 18th May 2016. Click here to see a larger photo of this.
