Meet Karen...with her endearing wing-propelled strut, shows that a hip injury will not stop her from embracing life to the fullest. Her sweet nature and determined spirit endear her to all who meet her.
Karen has no ring tag at the moment.
Karen was rescued in 2013 and rehabilitated at the Beluga Whale Sanctuary & Puffin Rescue Centre in Iceland. Unfortunately she cannot be released back into the wild.
She was relocated to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in April 2024 to create space for the Iceland Sanctuary to continue their vital rehabilitation work.
