Hector (Dolphin) was rescued on 21st June 2017

Hector, male common seal pup, was rescued on the 21st June 2017 from Heacham North beach.
This pup was separated from his mother and has lost a significant amount of his birth weight.

Update - 3rd July 2017 : Hector is currently being rehydrated before he can progress onto the special fish soup mixture. He weighs 10.55kgs and is in hospital pen number 4.

Update - 9th July 2017 : Hector has not put on any weight during the past few days and still weighs 10.55kgs.

Update - 30th July 2017 : Hector is currently in the hospital´s wean/swim pool. He currently weighs 15.3kgs.

Update - 10th October 2017 : Hector along with Puffin, Dusky, Daggernose, Bala, Blue, Polly-Ann and Hawksbill, were released back into the wild at Hunstanton beach on 9th October 2017.
