Fish Fingers was rescued on New Year´s Day 2021

Fish Fingers, 3 - 4 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on New Year´s Day 2021 by marine mammal medics from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).
She was found underweight, with a minor wound or her rear left flipper and had some breathing difficulties.
The seal pup spent a few days at one of the BDMLR´s facilities and then transferred to the Sanctuary on 15th January 2021.

She is currently in the seal hospital where the animal care team can keep an eye on her and help her get back to full health.

Update - 27th January 2021 : Fish Fingers is now in the outside nursery pool for her next stage of rehabilitation.
Her flipper tag ID number is SL131 (green).

Update - 1st March 2021 : Fish Fingers is currently in the rehabilitation pool.
She currently weighs 30.5kgs.
Update - 18th March 2021 : Fish Fingers along with Mayonnaise, Egg, Pie and Spud have completed their rehabilitation and were released back into the wild on 17th March 2021 at Dollar Cove.
