Cher was rescued on 9th January 2019
Cher, 6 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 9th January 2019 from Harlyn beach in Padstow by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

This pup was held overnight at one of the BDMLR´s holding veterinary facilities and then on 10th January 2019, she was transported to the seal hospital at Gweek.

Cher was found malnourished with superficial wounds. Weighed 15.5kgs.

Cher Update - 30th January 2019 : Cher is now in the outside pool and putting on lots of weight, it will not be too long before she is returned back into the wild in the next month or so.

Her flipper tag ID number is 351 (red).
Update - 22nd March 2019 : Cher was released back into the wild on 19th March 2019 at Porthtowan beach along with Cyndi Lauper, Pet Shop Boys, Pamela Anderson, Karma Chameleon and Hope.
