Brackium Emendo was rescued on the 12th of January 2018 from Lowestoft in Suffolk. Making him the first Grey Seal seal Pup for 2018.
He is estimated at 8 weeks old and has clearly been feeding well for himself in the wild.

Unfortunately he has experienced a severe bite to his rear flipper, deep enough to expose the bone. With medication, time to heal.

Update - 17th February 2018 : Brackium has sadly passed away on 12th February 2018; it is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough antibodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE.
