Alex was rescued on 13th August 2016
Alex, a female common seal pup, was rescued on 13th August 2016 from Happisburgh.

Alex came in around 4 weeks old with wounds to her face and flippers as well as a swollen muzzle! 		Alex
Alex Update - 1st September 2016 : Thankfully the wounds to Alex´s body are healing nicely. She also came in with lungworm which is easily treated.

Alex is a bit of a fussy eater but she has a lot of energy! She is currently in hospital pen number 2 and weighs 10.6kgs.

Update - 20th October 2016 : Alex has sadly passed away; it is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough anti-bodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary.
