 | Daley was rescued by Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary staff as he had been separate from his mum at only 2 days old and would not survive without intensive care. Daley was named after Tom Daley and will be supporting him through the Olympics this summer!
Update: 1st July 2012 - Daley is now in the weaning pool with Oates, Dempster, Miley and Ogogo. His flipper tag number is 11 (green).

Update: 22nd July 2012 -
Daley is also currently learning how to feed for himself. He likes to swim around his pen looking for his fish underwater. He is very vocal when it is feeding time and pokes his head up looking for fish whenever a member of the animal care team walks past.
He currently weighs 16 kilos!
Update: 31st July 2012 -
Daley has recently learnt to catch the fish out the water himself and as a result is rapidly gaining weight, he is now a solid 19.16kg. It won´t be long until he gets to go out to live in the resident seal pool with Sally, Amber and Tyne. Daley is turning out to be as good a swimmer as Olympian Tom Daley.
Update: 9th September 2012 - Daley along with Dempsey were released back into the wild on Tuesday 4th September 2012. The release was filmed for the ITV´s Britain´s Animal Babies which will be shown later this year in November.
