Rescued from : Heacham North Beach

Age : Six months old

Condition : Ulcerated eye and suffering from a nasty case of worms.

Boris
Boris Boris was rescued from Heacham North beach after several people kept chasing him back into the water. Some of the members of the Animal Care Team arrived and managed to grab the pup, after checking him, they found he had an ulcerated right eye and a bad case of lung worm.

Upon arrival at the hospital Boris was started on medication treatment.
Update : 12th May 2013 - Boris is currently in the hospital´s weaning pool and recovering from lung worms and ulcerated eye.

The staff are just waiting for the results to come back from the lab to give Boris the all clear on the worms then they will move her outside into the resident pool with Sally and the gang. Boris´s flipper tag number 177 (red).

Boris Update : 11th June 2013 - Boris was released back to the wild on 10th June 2013 on the beach in front of the Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary. He weighed 50kgs.
