Wellington arrived on 19th November 2010
Wellington, a 14 day old rescued pup, was taken to the RSPCA's West Hatch Wildlife Centre on 14th October 2010 for treatment.

On 19th November 2010 she was transferred to the National Seal Sanctuary for her next stage of rehabilitation and to learn to compete for fish with other seals. When Wellington arrived at the sanctuary, she weighed 31 kilos.
Wellington´s flipper tag number is 80018 (orange).

Wellington - 29th December 2010 Update: 28th November 2010 - Wellington is in the pup´s rehabilitation pool with Ugg and Pumpkin.

Update: 23rd December 2010 - Wellington is now in the convalescent pool and his flipper tag number is 80018(orange).

Update: 1st January 2011 - Photo left of Wellington was taken in the nursery pool on 29th December 2010, he currently weighs 38kg.    Click here to see further photos.
Update: 25th January 2011 - Wellington along with Boo, Roz, Dap, Andy´s Platform, Fats Domino and Rocket Dog were released back into the wild at Gwithian
on 24th January 2011.
