Toad was rescued on 6th January 2015
Toad, 3 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Penberth Cove on 6th January 2015 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was found to have numerous puncture wounds to flippers and body. On the front left flipper, the third claw risen and swollen digit and had a high temperature. Upon arrival at the seal hospital, he weighed 18kgs.
Update - 23rd January 2015 : Toad now weighs 19kgs and is spending his days in the outside nursery pools with another rescued seal pup named Hulk for their next stage of rehabilitation. His flipper tag number is 068 (yellow).

Update - 31st March 2015 : Toad is currently in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight.

Update - 26th April 2015 : Toad was released back into the wild along with Robin on 9th April 2015 at Gwithian.
