| SCRUMPY - Rescued on 10th December 2005 |
 | Scrumpy was rescued from Porthgwarra on the 10th of December 2005 aged approximately 5 weeks old. His temperature was very high when he got to us and he also had puncture wounds all over his body. He was put on a course of anti-biotics and given multi-vitamins and iron. He lost a little weight whilst in the first stages of rehabilitation but that was to be expected. |
| Update: 30th December 2005 After receiving a clean bill of health, Scrumpy has been moved into nursery 1 along with Pumpkin, Slip, Skiff, Bob and Quinn who have all been moved to the nursery pools from the hospital. |
| Update: 5th April 2006 Scrumpy, along with Carrot, Ouija and Humbug, were released back into the wild at Church Cove on 5th of April 2006. All four seals came out of the trailer and headed straight down the beach and into the water. |
