Samson - Arrived on 24th November 2007
Samson was rescued on 24th November 2007, from Carbis Bay. He had puncture wounds and webbing damage to his back flippers as well as an ulcer in his left eye. Samson weighed 18kg when he was rescued and 5 weeks old.

Samson is receiving antibiotics and anti-inflammortary for his injuries. He is in the main hospital now and is self feeding. Samson has lost weight due to feeding on just fluids for the first 24 hours, he now weighs 17.5kg. All his injuries must be clear before is able to go to the nursery pools.

Update: 14th December 2007 - Samson along with Digory and Fenna are now in the outside nursery pool and feeding well.

Update: 20th January 2008 - Samson was a little unhappy at being put in the convalescent pool, but has now settled in to life in the big pool.
Samson in the outside pool - photo was taken on 20th March 2008Update: 7th March 2008 - Samson had to be put into one of the nursery pools last weekend as he managed to eat a sea gull but did not suffer from any sickness due to his consumption.
