Ruby arrived on 28th December 2011
Ruby was rescued from Dyfed Lamphey in Wales on 31st October 2011 by the RSPCA and taken to their West Hatch Wildlife Centre for treatment.

The pup was transferred to the National Seal Sanctuary on 28th December 2011 for Ruby´s next stage of rehabilitation and to learn to compete for fish with other seals and then finally being released back into the wild. Although the pup has been named Ruby, he is a boy.

His flipper tag number is 80042 (orange).

Update: 25th January 2012 - Ruby along with Tigers Eye were released back into the wild at Gunwalloe on 13th January 2012.
