Robert was rescued on 3rd November 2010
On the 3rd November 2010 an eight week old male seal pup was rescued from Downderry beach by Faye Archell and members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

Robert was suffering from some cuts and had a high temperature.
When rescued, he weighed 17 kilos.

Update: 28th November 2010 - Robert has now been moved to the nursery pool 3 for his next stage of rehabilitation.

Francis - 29th December 2010 Update: 23rd December 2010 - Robert is now in the convalescent pool and learning to compete for the fish with the other seals. His flipper tag number is 017(white).

Update: 8th February 2011 - Robert currently weighs 43 kilos and is still in the convalescent pool.

Update: 6th March 2011 - Robert along with Sulley, Mike, Pearl, Rex and were Buzz released back into the wild on 28th February 2011.     Photo right of Sulley and Mike.
