Robbie was rescued on 2nd November 2014
Robbie, 2-3 week old male grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Portmellon Cove which is about half a mile from the centre of Mevagissey. The pup was found with wounds to his back and neck.

Upon arrival at the Sanctuary, the pup was put into one of isolation pen of the hospital and a full clinical assessment was carried out by members of the animal care team. His wounds were checked and cleaned. Robbie was given a course of precautionary antibiotics treatment. He was given a mixture of fluids and fish.

Update - 1st January 2015 : Robbie is in the convalescent pool and learning how to compete for fish with the other rescued seal pups and the resident seals.

Update - 25th January 2015 : Robbie was released back into the wild along with Mickie, Mr Incredible and Storm on 23rd January 2015 at Gunwalloe.
