Last Pup Released
On Friday the 23rd of July 2010 it was time for our last pup Gilderoy to be released. Gilderoy had taken a little longer to put on weight and learn to feed for himself but the time had come for him to return to the wild.

On Friday afternoon Dan and one of our volunteer caught up Gilderoy and it was just a short trip to Gwithian to release him.

On the beach Gilderoy was let out of the cage and it was just a short flop down to the waters edge before getting his flippers wet and he was off.

A few members of our Animal Care Team who were on a day off also made the journey to see him released and watched him slowly make his way around the point and hopefully join the seal colony nearby.

Gilderoy was our last pup from our 2009/2010 rescue season and the team will now start to prepare the hospital for new patients in September.
