Seb, Dewy, Kerplunk, Ludo and Ellie
The Animal Care Team have been making the most of the nice weather by getting as many of our pups and residents weighed, all the pups in the convalescent pool were weighed early in the week (during w/c 19th May) with Sebastian, Dewy, Kerplunk, Ludo and Ellie all having reached a perfect release weight. Alarm clocks were set, at least by the Animal Care Team (I'm not sure seals have alarm clocks!), and 6am on Thursday morning (22nd May 2008), just as the sun was coming up the five pups were loaded ready for release. The weather was perfect, the beach deserted and the sea calm, the trailer door was lowered and after a few sniffs of the salty sea air they were off, good luck Seb, Dewy, Kerplunk, Ludo and Ellie we'll miss you!
