Pumpkin
Pumpkin was rescued in Guernsey by the GSPCA and was transferred to the seal sanctuary on the 18th November 2010 for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn to compete for fish with other seals.  When Pumpkin arrived,
he weighed 28 kilos.

However, due to Pumpkin´s persistent bladder infection, the vets have advised that the seal sanctuary cannot release him so he is now staying at the centre full time.

Natalie decided to make Pumpkin a very special birthday cake, as it is Halloween and also his 6th Birthday, using ice, fish and food colouring to make it bright and colourful!

Each Adoption makes a valuable contribution to the seal rescue programme, allowing the Sanctuary to provide continuing care for those seals and other marine mammals around our coasts that need our help and to look after those that are unable to be released back into the wild.
