Re-built Sea Life Sanctuary opened by Michael Fish

A band of seals and otters from the north east will follow a warm front of tropical sea turtle, rays and reef fish from the south.

A settled period will follow, but with a risk of crocodiles moving in from the south west later!

Famous weather man Michael Fish used a special chart to recount the return of sea creatures to flood-ravaged Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary, on its grand reopening after a 10-month £3 million refurbishment.

Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary The 70-year-old forecaster´s visit coincided with the 27th anniversary of his infamous blunder of October 1987, when he assured BBC viewers there was no hurricane on the way...just hours before it battered much of the UK.

The Sea Life Sanctuary was flooded by a tidal surge last December, leading to the evacuation of more than 2,500 creatures to foster homes across England. All are now settled back into their new improved displays and enclosures, and enthralling visitors.
