Pippa was found by members of the public after she had been abandoned by her mum.

PippaPippa was found barely a few hours old and staff quickly realised she was slightly premature.

She is supporting Pippa Funnell this summer in her Olympic Equestrian events!

Update: 1st July 2012 - Pippa is doing really well now though she is one of the noisiest pups in the hospital.

Update: 22nd July 2012 - Pippa is now hand feeding from the animal care team. She is very vocal around meal times and scratches on the glass for her fish. She currently weighs 12 kilos.

Update: 31st July 2012 - Pippa was very sorry to hear that her Olympian Pippa Funnell was not been able to partake in the equestrian events due to bad injuries, however, the centre´s Pippa is doing very well! She currently weighs 18 kilos and is feeding well. The Animal Care Team have started teaching Pippa to catch her own fish in the pool, and she´s helping them to teach Pendle how to eat
his fish properly!
Update: 18th October 2012 - Pippa along with another of this year´s rescued pups, Macey, have been moved to Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary´s sister attraction Oban SEA LIFE Sanctuary in Scotland as their new residents. Pippa and Macey have a permanent thyroid condition and will need regular medication for the rest of their lives.
