Pepper was rescued on 18th January 2015
Pepper, three months old female grey seal pup, was rescued from the beach at Holywell Bay in Newquay on 18th January 2015 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

The pup was found to have high temperatures, and puncture wounds to muzzle and flippers. Weighed 24kgs.

Update - 23rd January 2015 : Pepper is currently on antibiotics for puncture wounds. She was prescribed antibiotics as a precaution to fight any infections she may be harbouring and also anti-inflammatories, aquavits and iron. The pup is eating fish well for herself and is in the main hospital at the moment, where she is having a swim each day. Pepper´s flipper tag number is 76 (yellow).
Pepper in the convalescent pool Update - 31st March 2015 : Pepper is currently in the convalescent pool and putting on lots of weight.

Update - 26th April 2015 : Pepper was released back into the wild along with Odin, Shrek, Hulk, Emma Frost and Aquaman on 24th April 2015 at Gwithian.
