Ivy, a female Humboldt penguin, was born at Weymouth SEA LIFE Centre in 2004. She arrived at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary on 30th March 2010. At feeding time Ivy will push the other penguins out of the way to get to the Animal Care Team. Ivy´s left wing band colour is red/black.

If you would like to adopt Ivy, you can either click here and print off the adoption registration form or you can ring the Adoption Co-ordinator at the Seal Sanctuary on 01326 221 361 and quote your credit card details or you can send an email for more details. The cost is - "Adult £50" - "Child (3-14yrs) £30" You will receive a photograph of your animal, adoption certificate, welcome letter, fluffy penguin and annual entry pass that entitles you to FREE admission for one year.

The other resident penguins:- Gilbert (green band), Yoni (blue band), Pink (blue band), Piran (pink/white band), Pine (pink/black/green band) and Lola (blue/white band) Each penguin has a different coloured tag to be able to tell them apart. Male penguins have a coloured band on their right wing and females on their left wing.
