Olive was rescued on 23rd October 2014
Olive, five week old female grey seal pup, was rescued from Towan Beach in Newquay on the 23rd October 2014. The pup had a few puncture wounds to rear flippers and was quite obviously malnourished.

Upon arrival at the Sanctuary, the pup was put into one of isolation pens of the hospital and a full clinical assessment was carried out by members of the animal care team and her wounds were cleaned. She weighed 15kgs. The vet prescribed the pup with antibiotics as a precaution to fight any infections she may be harbouring.
