Olaf - Photo taken by Sue Sayer of the Cornwall Seal Group on 25th May 2015 Update - 26th May 2015 : A few days after being released back to the wild, Olaf was spotted on 25th May at a local seal colony along the north coast of Cornwall by Sue Sayer of the Cornwall Seal Group.

Sue said "I have never seen such an excited seal. He swam on and off the beach over 20 times doing handbreak turns porpoising and rapid accelerations!"

"He exhausted the little girl who was originally following him. In the end he ever wore himself out and hung around under the cliff snoozing! It was like he had never seen a haul out beach or that many seals before! Well done and thank you to everyone involved in his rescue rehab and release!"

Sue Sayer is a member of the Cornwall Seal Group volunteer hundreds of hours of their own time to photo, identify and watch over the seals around the Cornish coast.
