Seal Release
All the seal pups rescued this year in June and July, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman Spiderman Mystique and Danger Mouse, have recovered from a really nasty virus and completed their rehabilitation. They were returned to the wild on 20th October 2013 at Snettisham beach.

Captain Pirate Week
Being a Pirate at Half Term was a way to Save Money!

It was half price admission for all pirates at the Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary.

Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary put out a call to all budding pirates between 27th and 31st October 2013! All visitors to the Sanctuary during October half-term week who arrived dressed as a pirate gained half price admission! There was also a very special Pirate Captain waiting for his crew at the pirate ship play area!

Norfolk´s best Captain Pirate made special guest appearances throughout the week, posing for pictures and entertaining all the pirate enthusiasts.

Those who wanted the chance to talk like a Pirate or walk like a Pirate came along to the Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary during the half-term for their chance to meet a very special Captain!

Shark Awareness
Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary are throwing the spotlight on sharks during the Shark Awareness event, with talks, feeding demonstrations, kids´ activities and lots more between 19th October - 3rd November 2013.

Learn about these amazing and increasingly endangered animals and what we can all do to help save them.

Seals in the Wild!
We are now into the Grey Seal pupping season in the UK, if you are visiting the coast in Suffolk or Norfolk, you may well see newborn pups, can we remind you that white fluffy pups may look cute, but they have sharp teeth that carry harmful baterial.

They can also be easily disturbed and lose their mum, so please keep your distance and help look after our wonderful marine life!

If you discover a seal pup that is in distress or alone, do not approach or touch it, please call the Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary on 01485 533576.

DO keep your distance;
DON´T attempt to handle the pup;
DON´T attempt to put the pup in the sea;
DON´T ignore the situation;
DO tell the appropriate organisation.
