[The Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary]


Brown banded bamboo Sharks
We have recently had 5 Brown banded bamboo Sharks born at the Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary. They have all hatched from their leathery egg cases during October and November 2009.

They currently measure between 10-18cm in length and will eventually grow to over 1 metre long. When they are first born they are beautifully striped like a zebra but these markings will fade as they grow until as adults they will be a pale browny/grey colour.
