Jellyfish
There are thousands of species of these squishy creatures living in the sea. There are about 200 kinds of Jellyfish and about 9,000 kinds of animals which are closely related to them.

The creatures we call Jellyfish have been around for about 600 million years. They aren't jelly and they aren't fish and they don't fit easily into any neat biological category.

The bodies of Jellyfish are little more than bags of jelly with a hollow inside. One layer of cells forms the outside of the bag. One layer lines the inside, soft, watery jelly separates the two layers of cells.
