On the 9th January 2012 we received a call from Housel Bay near the Lizard about a pup needing our help. This pup was estimated to be around 10 weeks old and weighed in around 16.5 kilos.
Back at the Sanctuary following a clinical assessment, it was revealed that the pup is a female and in a moderate condition with a very high temperature and puncture wounds to tail and real flippers, but despite all this, a very active pup. This pup has been called Marilyn Monroe and at present is in isolation pen number 3 of the hospital.

Update: 20th March 2012 - Marilyn Monroe is now in the outside pool. Her flipper tag number is 38 (green).
