| Lauren was rescued on 24th November 2008 |
| Lauren was rescued from Perranporth on the 24th November 2008, 6 weeks old and weighing 12 kilos, she has wounds to both rear flippers which are being cleaned and treated and she has been given a course of antibiotics. Lauren received fluids for the first 24 hours and will then move on to whole fish which she will be assisted with by a member of the Animal Care Team. Update: 12th December 2008 - Lauren now weighs 13 kilos and is currently in the hospital pen No. 1. Her flipper tag number is 014 (Red). |

 | Update: 24th December 2008 - Lauren is now off treatment and is in water; hopefully in the next week or so, she will be moved to the outside nursery pools.
Update: 1st January 2009 - These photos of Lauren in the outside nursery pool were taken on 29th December 2008. Update: 20th March 2009 - Lauren was released back into the wild early in the morning on 17th March 2009 along with Erin, Sophie and Holly. |
