Joepi was born on 11th of April 2004 in Berlin then moved to Blankenberge early in 2005 and has now moved to Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary. He is happily attached to his partner Jess.
Each penguin has a different coloured tag to be able to tell them apart.
Male penguins have a coloured band on their right wing and females on their left wing.
Joepi´s tag colour is green (right).
