These photos of Lilly were taken by the Innoles family a few hours after she was released back into the wild in April 2010.
The Innoles family said "whilst downloading some photographs we took whilst at Godrevy we noticed that one of the seals we had spotted had something around its neck. We would have contacted you sooner but didn't realise until a closer look at the photos that there might be something wrong."
After checking our records, we emailed back with the good news that it was Lilly, now a healthy seal, back in the wild.
Lilly was originally rescued from the Padstow area on 30th December 2009 after becoming entangled in some net and
released back into the wild on 13th April 2010. You can read more about Lilly on the Sanctuary's website via this link.
