| Iceberg |
![]() | Iceberg is a male grey seal who arrived at the sanctuary on the 20th of January 2005 from Walton-On-The-Naze. He had been sitting on the beach for 3 days with no sign of his mum. He still had his baby white fur which meant he should have still been with his mother. He was only 3 weeks old when he came to us but he weighed 32kg. Once he was admitted to the sanctuary hospital he quickly started to feed for himself and rapidly put on weight and moult his white fur. |
| Update - Iceberg was returned home to Walton-On-The-Naze on the 11th of March 2005 weighing 42.5kg. We have since heard that he is doing really well, looking fatter than when he was released and he is sitting with the other wild seals in the area. |
