Wingardium was rescued on
28th December 2017
Wingardium, female grey seal pup, was rescued on the 28th December 2017 from Southwold beach in Suffolk.

She had a nasty abscess under armpit and next to her eye.

This pup currently weighs 11.5kgs.
Update - 18th February 2018 : Wingardium is now in the seal enclosure for her final stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with the other rescued seal pups and the resident seals during feeding time.

Her flipper ID tag number is 385 (green).

Wingardium Update - 12th March 2018 : Wingardium has completed her rehabilitation and will be released back to the wild soon.

Update - 25th March 2018 : Wingardium along with Accio, Leatherback, Lumos and Leviosa were released back into the wild on 22nd March 2018 on Hunstanton beach.
