Shimmy was rescued on 20th August 2018
Shimmy, female common seal pup, was rescue from Mundesley beach on 20th August 2018.

The pup had horrific case of worms. She was put on a drip recuperating.

Shimmy may look like a innocent little teddy bear, however, the Animal Care team can vouch, she is quite the stubborn seal with a bite to match.

Update - 23rd September 2018 : Shimmy has sadly passed away; it is always very sad when one of the rescued pups dies but sometimes these little ones just don´t have enough antibodies and strength in them to pull through, despite the best efforts of all the staff at Hunstanton SEA LIFE.
