Shark was rescued on 20th February 2017
Shark, male grey seal pup, was rescued on 20th February 2017 from the beach at Godrevy.

He was found to have bite wounds to rear flippers and bilateral corneal ulceraton.


Update - 1st March 2017 : Shark is still in the hospital and will be moved down to the outside pool soon.

Shark´s flipper tag number is 344 (white).

Rehab Pool - photo by John, Paul, Ruth and Maddie Gore Update - 9th April 2017 : Shark is in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation and putting on lots of weight before being returned to the wild in the next month.

Update - 29th April 2017 : Shark along with Goose, Porcupine, Octopus, Pangolin and Bat were released back into the wild on 26th April 2017 at Gwithian beach. Seal Release - 25th April 2017
