Salem was rescued on 20th February 2019
Salem is a male grey seal pup rescued on the 20th February 2019. He has personality by the bucketful and a feisty little bite on him to match. Salem was found lethargic on the beach and quite floppy.

Whilst hauling out on the beach and resting is quite common for seals and not a sign for concern, he displayed signs of dehydration and malnourishment.
This would suggest that after Salem was separated from his mother, he failed to adapt to feed for himself quickly enough.
